Reimagining Alderney Landing
With our partners, we are developing a comprehensive Master Design Concept Plan for Alderney Landing, building and improving as a waterfront gateway for the world to experience and be inspired by our unique and diverse Dartmouth community.
As an incubator for entrepreneurship and Dartmouth-based business, an improved Alderney Landing will have greater capacity to support small businesses and stimulate greater economic growth and prosperity for our community, HRM and the province of Nova Scotia. With enhanced investment, the reimagined Alderney Landing is primed to increase capacity and offerings for music, entertainment and artistic initiatives, celebrating and leveraging our creative industries and introducing current and new artists to the world.
The project will also boost Alderney Landing’s capacity as an essential hub for community and social impact, providing safe spaces for all members of our community, supporting critical associations and non-profit organizations and bringing together and supporting a robust community of volunteers who work to make Dartmouth a healthier, safer and engaging place to live.
